  1. Beautiful! Is the size a lucky strike to match your wall heights or did it involve a lot of math?

    1. When I make bed quilts to fit our queen size bed (without using a ruffle/bed skirt), usually the top size is around 100" x 100". By the time the quilt is done, there is a shrinkage of about 3-4" in both length and width. This size fits the bed and drapes well to hide the metal frame on which the mattress and bed spring sits on.

The centre is usually around 84" x 84" and then my borders will make up the difference to get to the 100" x 100" size.

This size quilt goes perfectly on my wall.
