Inspiration

Usually when I need inspiration, I check out my quilt books. Sometimes that's a book on Celtic symbols, or a book on textile design or the flowers in my garden. But to make something different, inspiration for quilting designs can come from the strangest areas.

How about fences made by blacksmiths:

Islamic tiles:

And mozaic:

How about textures as metal sheets?

Or a special Escher-grid?

Inspiration for hand quilting is everywhere!

Have fun quilting!
