A Dear Jane from France

Gail ClarkMy name is Gail Clarke, I live in Burgundy, France, and here's a photo of my latest quilt off the frame.  It will be on exhibition at the "Pour l'Amour du Fil" quilt show in Nantes, France, the third week of April.  My Dear Jane will be one of one hundred reproduction quilts on show.

My Dear Jane is hand-pieced and hand-quilted on a full frame (4 boards, 4 clamps).  It was totally addictive and I enjoyed every minute of it - in fact, I might start another one just to try out different fabrics!!

I love visiting this blog!

  1. love it! having made two dear Janes myself I always love seeing them as I know how much hard they are to make - I too hand pieced mine, hand quilted the first and the second is waiting in line.
