What is ahead in 2013

My goals for this fabulous new year include the following:

1) Finishing the hand quilting on my Feathered Stars

2) Finishing my wall hanging from the Karen Kay Buckley workshop I took, and hand quilting it. It will also have borders on it, my initials and a date appliqued on in a folksy style.

Purple Reign

3) Completing the Double Irish Chain quilt for my bed (and machine quilting it).  The quilt that is currently on our bed is worn out, and we need something new.  This quilt uses up some fabric that I have had for years.  The green here doesn’t look anything like the actual color, which is lighter and more muted.

I have other projects in mind as well…

2013 Quilt Projects

What are YOUR quilting plans for 2013?

  1. 1)Finish 6 quilts by Thanksgiving to give to my Niece / Nephews. 2)Enter 3 quilts in a local quilt show. 3)Finish at least 5 of the existing (20ish) UFO's.

  2. Wow... And I get to one. Just one. Finishing my Broken Star. And this little whiteonwhite I am making. So that´s two... Man, do I admire you!

  3. I just hope to find some time to sit down, enjoy a cup of coffee and get some quilting done on my daughters bible quilt, it has waited too long to get finished.

  4. Thanks so much for your comment on Exuberant Color's blog in regards to using Windows Live Writer. I tried it this morning, and it works! I love all the options that they have for editing, watermarking photos, etc. Maybe the little issue with blogger ended up being a good thing :-).

    1. Hand quilting a Scrappy Furrows quilt that I started 3 years ago with a block exchange.
