Yea! Good for you. I am working on my first project using the Big Stitch. I am enjoying it, but it does take a little concentration to not attempt tiny stitches. LOL Your quilt looks wonderful.
Winona.. yes it seems like you need more concentration on these even stitches. Can`t wait to see your project you are using yours on!
Lovely! This looks like Kathy's May small quilt challenge block! Well done & love your Big Stitch quilting. Becky G in NC
Yes Becky you are right so glad that it is still recognizable..LOL
love the big stitch. your quilt is very nice.
thanks sewyouquilt2 it is a mini design by Kathleen Tracy
I know exactly what you mean! But I will say that small stitches done with #12 perle cotton look beautiful after washing. Also, be careful of stitch fatigue . . . my hands tire very easily after a round of big stitch quilting so remember to take a break. Take care!
I am trying to get up the nerve to begin sashiko stitching on the water part of a banner. I think it may be the same thing by a different name.
I will like to get on your blogs and facebook page, but seems I can't find your facebook page It says you ladies are on facebook ,but when I look I can't find nothing related to hand stitching..Is there something I have to do to be part of the conversation.I have done some hand stichIng.and I will like to learn more..Thanks.Dee Wilson
